Bottles of water will be readily stocked in rooms and feel free to request more.
For guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions please be advised that the resort will be happy to accommodate special meal requests however please keep in mind that the kitchens in which the food is prepared will not be free of allergens. Food can be at risk as a result of cross contamination (mixed utensils, common prep tables). If a guest has a severe allergy which can result in anaphylactic shock then they will have to remain very vigilant about their meals and should not count on the kitchens being free of the allergen.
Guests with dietary restrictions must inform the host/hostess/chef before dining and remind them of those restrictions. For your own safey, please do not assume that the staff will remember.
Likewise, guests should not assume that buffet items are allergen free (even if labeled) because in a buffet set up there is a large chance for cross contamination (i.e. a guest mixing up the serving spoons).

ABOUT PUNTA CANA
The East Coast of the Dominican Republic is where Punta Cana can be found. Punta Cana is the largest and fastest growing tourist destination in the Caribbean and it is a popular holiday destination for people from all over the world. Punta Cana boasts more than 50 hotels and 30,000 hotel rooms spread across 40 kilometres of the East Coast's beautiful white sand beaches, making it the single largest tourist destination in the Caribbean. Punta Cana's resorts were discovered first by Europeans, who still make up the majority of visitors. Punta Cana's sugar white sand beaches, lapped by turquoise waves are perhaps the prettiest in the Dominican Republic.
ABOUT DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
The Dominican Republic lies about 800 miles/1,280 kilometres southeast of Miami and is bordered in the Greater Antilles chain by Cuba to the west and Puerto Rico to the east. The island of Hispaniola, which the Dominican Republic shares with Haiti, totals some 48,482 square kilometres making it the second largest island in the Caribbean. The Dominican Republic was discovered on December 5, 1492 by Christopher Columbus during his first voyage to the New World. At that time, the island of Hispaniola (as Columbus named it) was called 'Quisqueya' by the Taino Indians who occupied the land. With a population estimated around 600, 000, the Tainos (meaning 'the good') were peaceful and hospitable to Columbus and his crew. Columbus had a particular fondness for Hispaniola, describing it in his journals as a "beautiful island paradise with high forested mountains and large river valleys".
